STUDENT HOANG CAO MINH EXCELS WITH A SILVER MEDAL AT THE TIMO 2025 INTERNATIONAL MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD
Following his strong performance at the national round, Hoang Cao Minh, a student of class 3GE, continued to challenge himself at the International Round of the TIMO 2025 Olympiad and achieved an excellent result with a Silver Medal.
🥈 He is also the recipient of numerous awards from other academic competitions, including a Silver Medal at the national round of TIMO, Silver Medals in all three subjects Mathematics, Science, and English at the national round of ASMO, Second Prize for Grade 3 at the provincial level, and a Commendation Prize at the Grade 4 provincial level (advanced participation) in the IOE contest.
With a passion for learning, consistent hard work, and the dedicated support of his family and Newton Grammar School, Cao Minh has built an impressive collection of medals from reputable national and international academic competitions.

The Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO) is organized by the Olympiad Champion Education Centre from Hong Kong in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
This is a meaningful academic platform for students from kindergarten to high school who have a passion for Mathematics. The competition aims to inspire and nurture students’ interest in the subject, strengthen creative thinking skills, and expand opportunities for international cultural exchange. In the 2022–2023 academic year, TIMO was held for the eleventh time globally and the sixth time in Vietnam.
