THE LEARNING PROJECT “A BETTER WORLD”: NURTURING THE SEEDS OF A BETTER FUTURE
“A Better World” is an English learning project designed for primary students at Newton Grammar School. The project creates an engaging learning environment where students practice language skills, spark creativity and develop a positive mindset toward contributing to a better world.

Centered on the message of building a better future, the project offers a range of appealing topics tailored to each age group. At each grade level, students participate in unique activities that encourage exploration and hands-on learning.

Grade 1 and 2: My Green World – Protecting the environment through small, meaningful actions.
Grade 3 and 4: My Dream Country – Discovering and presenting a country of their dreams.
Grade 5: My Mini Book. A Trip to the Future – Writing and sharing stories about an imagined future world.

Through the project, students have the opportunity to:
• Develop English skills naturally, including vocabulary, communication and presentation abilities.
• Broaden their understanding of countries and cultures around the world.
• Boost imagination and fine motor skills through creative activities.
• Build confidence, collaboration and a sense of responsibility.

Through “A Better World”, Newton Grammar School continues to affirm its commitment to holistic education where students not only acquire academic knowledge but also develop talents, life skills and a sense of responsibility toward their community.
